13 sleeps until the move!

Here is proof that the girls do play even with the tv on.

Backyardigans (...yes Kristin we have definately discovered the Backyadigans and I more often than not have one of their catchy tunes in my head "Stomp! Stomp! Stomp! Doin' the Yeti stomp!" ), Kipper the Dog and Dora the Explorer have been good friends the last few days with me trying to keep packing and organizing, through all of our colds and the snowy weather.

We have gotten outside though, on warmer days. We had -38 with windchill the other day and non-stop snow the last week.

It has been a busy last few months since we started packing for our move. The girls have been so good at helping me pack (and sometimes un-pack) their toys and clothes. Here's the rundown of the "move days":
The packers will be here on the 15th to pack all our fragile items.
The movers will be here on the 16th. They will also be picking our van up the same day. So we will be renting a car and moving into a hotel until Sunday the 19th when P has his last service followed by a farewell potluck and then off to the airport for the first half of our plane trip. Next morning at 6am! our second and final travel day and we will be "home?!?" The girls love looking at the photos of the planes that we will be taking on our trip. The CRJ and the 320. Photos of the jets are on Air Canada's website

P had an Ash Wednesday service on Wednesday night, Bible study last night and has a viewing at the funeral home tonight with the funeral tommorow. 2 services on Sunday and then he is all ours again! Thank the Lord for the Sabbath (ie days off)! Although "days off" have been "packing days"! It is all very exciting and worth every minute though. A blessing to be close to family again!

Lenten Blessings to you all.
