Sick, Sick and More Sick...and WinterCamp

It seems that we are just not capable of getting healthy this winter. We even got flu shots!!! Po has some nasty stomach thing, the girls can't seem to get out of this cold/flu/cold cycle and I seem to have caught the cold with a really bad cough that won't let me settle. My Dr. has prescribed some Tylenol 3 with codeine and caffeine...heavenly. So for the past 2 nights I have actually been able to sleep. I have unfortunately pulled a stomach muscle badly and so every time I cough or move it feels like a knife is finding its way into my stomach. Baby seems to like sticking it's little foot right on the belly muscle too and giving it a good swift kick every few minutes. Ugh!


We just had an environmental inspector come through the house to make sure that there isn't something growing in the walls or attics (we have 2) that is making us sick. But there isn't. We have mice in the attic though. Fun discovery. The kids think it's fun anyway. No bats though. Good thing.


The folks in our parish are amazing. They keep coming by with food and have taken the kids for play days. I love this place. They sure know how to care for their priest and his family.

Last weekend we got away to Winter Camp. This is us in the dining room.
Po was the speaker for the Family Winter Camp. It was great fun. Tons of babies, toddlers and kids...and sleepy parents too. The food was awesome and the staff were excellent. We are definately going to look into summer family camp. The girls got to try a bunch of fun things including snow tubing. Bel was thrilled to try wall climbing. Po (aka scared of heights Daddy) even got harnessed up. Although we have no pictures of him climbing. Here are some photos of Bel climbing the wall. She was so brave!
