Nana and Grampa had the girls over for a Chinese New Years feast. It was amazing! They made fans with dragons on them and chinese lanterns. They even used chopsticks to eat. The year of the Ox is proving to be a fun one already! ; ) The menu included (all homemade of course...this is Nana!) chicken fried rice, wonton soup, spring rolls, chinese stir-fry vegetables, lo mein noodles, steamed rice. And very chinese ice cream sandwiches for dessert : )
And then they played outside. They painted the snow in a rainbow of colours and even dug a trench for the swing and slide. So much fun! And Mama and Daddy went shopping...thanks Nana and Grampa! We love you!
